Proceso de admisión

Admission Process
 

To apply for the masters is necessary to have at least 3 years after obtaining bachelor degree of university work experience.


Required Documentation

The applicants to the admission process need to submit the following documents:

  • Admission request, completed by the applicant.
  • Curriculum vitae, according to the UP format.
  • Photocopy of the Identification Document (I.D.).
  • Photocopy of the Bachelor’s Degree*1.
  • Photograph, ID size, color with white background (no eye glasses
  • Two confidential reports from people in different institutions, which the candidate has had an academic or work relationship. None of the reports can be written by the members of the Admission Council of the School.
  • Certificates of other completed studies at university level (optional).
  • Motivation letter for applying to the MBA (1 page, max 500 words).
  • Payment receipt for the admission process.

1 If the candidate is accepted, must submit the original. For degrees in process, must submit the official voucher. The foreign applicants must have the approval of their degrees


Evaluation of the applicant:

  • 1. Review the personal documents with the submitted documentation.
  • 2. Aptitude Test (verbal reasoning and math/evaluation of competencies)
  • 3. Personal Interview with the member of the Admission Committee of the Graduate School.

Cost for the admission process:​

The applicant must pay S/.400 to participate in the admission process..
Deposit online through link https://campusvirtual.up.edu.pe/admisionepg and/or in person with the service code shown in admission form, at the tellers from the banks Scotiabank, Banco de Credito del Peru, Interbank o BBVA Continental.

Once agreed payment facility, it may not be changed at the request of the student, in exceptional cases which are duly justified. The request for a change (increase the number of payments) and approval by the university will apply a different treatment, which will determine a recalculation of the Cost, which will not include the category of discounts.​

Cost with advanced registration payment

Students who pay the full tuition until January 2016, will benefit from a discount of S /. 1,000 in the first payment scheduled. To access this benefit, applicants must submit their documents, no later than August 7.


Investment for total payment on cash

Payment in advance for the total cost of the program will have a benefit of 13% discount on the total cost of the masters.

In cases where the applicant is a beneficiary of a discount derived  from agreements with other institutions, you must report the benefit to the sales consultant before payment of tuition. Discounts are only applicable prior to their enrollment, so the benefit is lost but is used timely. The benefits of discounts are not cumulative, so that the applicant can only access a discount rate. ​

  • Services and use of all facilities that comprise the Graduate School: computer equipment, internet use, parking 3 valet parking3, coffee breaks, among others.

Direct Financing

*Once the payment of tuition is done, you cannot request a refund of this item. Preferential courses for students who need to update their knowledge in Accounting, Statistics, Finance and Management. The validation of the preparatory courses is subject to the policies of the school. Subject to availability and for those who are with their payments up to date.

Enrollment Quota
 The maximum number of persons allowed to enroll is 35. Once accepted the applicant, the availability of the vacancy be subject to payment of tuition. 
In case the payment is made after the maximum number above has been completed, the entrant may exercise the right in the next academic term.

  • How many years of work experience are required? It is essential that the applicant has 3 years minimum work experience after obtaining the bachelor's degree.
    • Are you required to have knowledge of English to apply? There is no requirement to apply for the Master but it is preferable that the applicant have an intermediate level of English. The printed material he receives such as books, reprints or lectures are in English. Sometimes visiting professors from foreign schools offer academic sessions in English for students of some masters.
    • Once accepted, the applicant must take a placement test at Centro de Idiomas de la Universidad del Pacifico. The cost of examination will be covered by the Graduate School.
    • What does the Cost of the registration include?
      • Registration¹, depends on the master chosen by the applicant.

    • What are propaedeutic courses?

      • ​​​​ Fundamental courses in Accounting, Finance, Statistics and Business Management; the courses are online with two face to face advisory.
      •  Aimed at those participants who do not have a degree in management, economics, accounting, and industrial or for those wishing to upgrade as they begin their master studies.
